"We're off to see…" The Wizard of Oz this holiday season and it's filled with kids from your neighborhood! Join NBC10, Mix 106.1 and METRO as your favorite "munchkins" take center stage as part of Walnut Street Theatre's spectacular holiday production! Click your heels together three times and join The Scarecrow, The Tinman, The Cowardly Lion, Dorothy… and Toto too, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts' desires.

The search is on for as many as 24 young actors (two teams of 12 kids each!) who will perform live, onstage at the Walnut, from November 8th through January 8th. Our "munchkins" will work with some of Philadelphia's finest actors! Rediscover the real story of The Wizard of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for the entire family.

How To Audition

1. Submit your child’s photo and a resume to be considered for an appointment:
   Email WSTMunchkinCasting@gmail.com and include name, parent, age, and contact number. Auditions are Wednesday, September 7 between 10am-6pm. Callbacks are Friday, September 9.
   
   
2. Kids selected will be requested to come sing a prepared song and be asked to perform simple dance steps.
   
   
3. All kids must be available for performances from November 8, 2016 through January 8, 2017. Each team performs four to five shows per week. Performances include matinee and evening performances. Rehearsals begin October 18, 2016.
