Damon Bonetti is a Philadelphia-based actor, director, musician, and teacher. At the Walnut he's been in nine productions and directed two children's musicals. Damon also taught the 2018 summer Shakespeare performance group and directed Hamlet He has performed or directed at many of the area theaters including Philadelphia Theater Company, Lantern Theater, Theater Exile, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theater, Passage Theater, Inis Nua, Hedgerow Theater and Theater Horizon. Damon is the Co-Founding Artistic Director of the Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, a site-specific theater company, dedicated to the performance of rare classical plays. He is a professor at Rutgers University - Camden where he teaches Acting I (Intro to Acting and Action), II (Modern American and Turn of the Century), III (Shakespeare), Acting on Film, and a Business of Acting / Audition Prep Class. He is a three time Barrymore Nominee (Outstanding Director, Outstanding Supporting Actor, Outstanding Ensemble) and his company, The PAC, won the 2015 June and Steve Wolfson Award for an Emerging Theater Company. Damon appears extensively on film, commercials and is heard in voice-overs. He received his BA in Theater from DeSales University and earned his MFA at Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory. He is the lead guitarist for Jawbone Junction.
