The Big Bad Wolf's Gone Good!

What happens when the Big Bad Wolf wants to be the good guy for a change? This fast and furious collection of famous fairy tales investigates and answers that very question. Students join the Big Bad Wolf as he fractures each fairy tale, giving each a modern twist and a new perspective. This hilarious and engaging program uses audience participation to challenge preconceived notions of good and bad and to deal with prejudice, peer pressure, conflict resolution, character education and self-esteem.

The Adventures of Nick Nutrition and His Dog Fiber

Fighting the Forces of Fat and Fatigue!

Who will save the world from an increasingly tubby tomorrow? Call Nick Nutrition and his dog Fiber! By day, an average boy and his dog, but, after school, they become an intrepid pair of superheroes dedicated to improving the minds and bodies of their fair city. Each day offers choices and poses challenges. This new play offers a fun and entertaining introduction to good eating habits and the importance of daily activity, while providing students with a head start to a healthy future. With Nick's courage and Fiber's intelligence, students are empowered to take control of their health!

The Boy Who Cried Bully

The Bully-Buster is Back!

A restaging of our fun and ground-breaking work on an important topic. Meet Nate, a typical third-grader with a love for telling tall tales. Nate's biggest problem is Sam, a fifth-grade bully who has it in for him and his friends. Thankfully, Bob the Bully-Buster visits to teach Nate's class what they can do to identify and prevent bullying in school. Based on the classic Aesop's fable, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, this honest, funny and engaging production looks at stretching truths and accepting differences.

Too Much Pressure...
An Honest Look At Why It Is So Hard To Be A Kid

When did it get so hard to be a kid? Only 13 tells the story of Phoebe—a 13-year-old with no friends, a Dad who doesn't get her, and all the wrong clothes. The kids at school use taunts and cyber-bullying until Phoebe contemplates suicide. Only with the help of a little magic does Phoebe come to value herself and learn that her life matters. This thoughtful and provocative play met with great acclaim in our 2011-12 season and will make students think about the way they treat others and come to see that everybody in their school matters and deserves their respect.

Freedom Riders

An Engaging Look at the Civil Rights Movement!

This inspirational show takes students on a ride back in time to the turbulent 1960s. Join two teenage students as they become part of important historical scenes involving Teddy Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, Ossie Davis, W.E.B. Du Bois, Martin Luther King, Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, Malcolm X and others. As they retrace the difficult and finally triumphant road to freedom, your own students will be moved by the events they will witness on this Freedom Ride. They'll begin to recognize the hope that tolerance can offer and the indomitable strength of the human spirit.
