Walnut Street Theatre is currently accepting resumes for the following positions:
Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia seeks a Carpentry Apprentice beginning mid-November through mid-March 2026.
Apprentices work with the Technical Director, Assistant Technical Director and IATSE carpenters to build various shows in our scene shop, which is located off-premises in North East Philadelphia. Some of the tasks for the carpentry apprentices include woodworking, welding (steel & aluminum), mechanical implementation, and theatrical rigging.
Apprentices receive a full scholarship to be in the program and a weekly stipend of $500 to assist with personal expenses associated with participation.
