Wigs Run Crew / Technician

Walnut Street Theatre, America’s Oldest Theatre, is seeking experienced and knowledgeable wig technicians for their upcoming production of Dreamgirls. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: serve as a member of the wigs run crew during load-in, tech, performances, and strike; maintain care and styling of wigs, generate functional tracking sheets; set up and maintain backstage wig areas.

Ideal candidate is self-motivated and team-oriented with an ability to execute wig changes quickly and professionally and collaborate with wardrobe team. Capability to climb several flights of stairs and carry up to 50 lbs is required. Certificate in hair styling/barbering, experience with textured hair, and theatrical makeup experience a plus.

Start date 3/11/25 (flexible). End date 5/4/25.

Pay range is $18-20 per hour. This seasonal hourly position is eligible for overtime and requires night and weekend hours on a standard performance schedule beginning mid-March.

Ticketing Services Agents

The Walnut Street Theatre, America's Oldest Theatre, has openings for part-time Ticketing Services Agents to handle incoming telephone inquiries, ticket sales and exchanges. $15 per hour with bonus incentives. Shifts include daytime, nights, and weekends. Previous box office or ticketing experience is a plus, but not required. Work in a friendly, organized atmosphere and see all productions for free.
