This interior photo taken in 1952 shows the 1920 interior designed by William Lee.
The only architectural remnants from the nineteenth century were the wooden eagle
over the proscenium arch and the wooden stage machinery above the stage. From
1920 until 1969 there were no renovations made to the building. (Photograph
