Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? played at the
Walnut for 22 weeks in the 1981-82 season, making it one of the longest-running
shows in Walnut history. Its Philadelphia success did not transfer with the
show when it moved to Broadway, where it closed after five performances.
